Little Traders is an online, managed marketplace that eliminates the hassle of buying and selling second hand baby and kid gear. Buyers can shop top brands at top value, or sell their own gear through us.

Buying and selling second hand baby gear online more often than not leads to scams, delivery struggles, interactions with strangers and awkward cash exchanges.

Contact-free Pickup and Delivery

For all items, our team will pickup and deliver to your door rather than entering your home. For large items, if you prefer in-home delivery please email us as: hello@littletraders.ca. For in home deliveries or pickups, our delivery team will be wearing masks, take all precautions, and maintain 6 feet of distance.

Hard Surface Sanitization

Under guidance from Public Health Agency of Canada, we are asking that our community of sellers clean and sanitize the hard surfaces of their items prior to pickup. Cleaning prior to pickup as a precautionary measure will ensure the safety and wellbeing of our delivery team.

Product Sanitization

Delivery of clean and sanitized gear is an important part of our business. We ensure that picked up items remain untouched in our warehouse for 48 hours. After those 48 hours we sanitize and clean each item with a hospital grade steam cleaner before it's packaged and delivered to its new home.

Sellers

Selling with us is simple!

2. Fill out our form to request a pick up

We recommend collecting as many items to sell as possible at one time. On the date of your pick up, simply leave your items outside or with your concierge and we will pick them up within a designated pick up window.

Once your item is sold you can expect to receive 20-70% of the sale price. You can choose to be paid out in cash (via EMT), a store credit for the amount plus 20%, or donate a percentage of the money to our local charity partners.

We accept most baby and kids gear except the following:

- Clothing and Shoes

- Car Seats

- Broken and Recalled Items

- Stuffed Animals

- Couches, beds, and oversized furniture

- Items that have reached the end of their useable life

We pick up anywhere in the City of Toronto, Mississauga, Vaughan, and Markham. If you're outside these areas and require a pick up please reach out to us.

Depending on the item, we offer upfront payment or traditional consignment.

Payouts are based on the listed price on our website and will be paid out after the item has been purchased. You can expect the following consignment payouts on each items:

$300+ earn 70%

$150-$299 earn 60%

$60-$149 earn 50%

Less than $60 earn 20%


At the end of every month, your payout will be initiated by our payments team.

Options for payout include:

- Cash (via EMT)

- Store credit for the payout amount PLUS 20%

- Donate a portion of your payout to one of our charity partners.

Nope. It's free to have your items picked up by Little Traders but we do ask for minimum 7 items to sell.

We use a combination of current retail prices, the model, year, condition, as well as marketplace data to price your items.

Often times items don't sell because of price, seasonality, and/or supply in the market.

We reserve the right to lower the price of the item in order to help it sell. If your item has not sold after 6 months, we can donate it on your behalf or provide them back to you at your request.

Our prices are non-negotiable. We pride ourselves on offering our customers competitive deals for all our products. If you do find a price online that's cheaper, we will match it!

We ship most items Canada wide for a flat rate of $9.99. There are some items, however, that are restricted to the GTA because of size.

If you're in the GTA, we offer free shipping for orders over $99.

Oversized items (cribs, gliders, etc) will be delivered via local courier in the GTA only and cost $50.

We strive to get our orders out the same day that they're placed. Then they will take anywhere from 2-4 business days depending on location.

Rest assured, assembles and inspects each item we receive to verify working condition and missing parts (if any).

We will lightly clean and sanitize each item with our hospital grade steam cleaner to ensure it arrives at its new home in as good as new condition.

We will then rate the condition of the item based on the following guidelines:

New in Box: The item is unopened and in the original packaging and will not have any signs of use.

Like New: The item will have very few signs of use and may or may not be in the original packaging. Signs of use, if any, will be minor. Typically categorized by approximately 0-3 scratches, no stains and the item is in excellent working condition.

Gently Used: The item may have some signs of use like minor scratches or stains but it will include all pieces and will be in great working condition, unless otherwise noted. Typically categorized by approximately 4-8 scratches. Stains, fading or wear may be present.

Lovingly Used: The item shows signs of use which may mean tears, stains or fading, but will be in good working condition. Typically categorized by 8 or more scratches. May have missing pieces but the item is in good working condition.

We offer a 3-day return guarantee. If you're not happy with your item, please let us know within 3 days of receiving it and we can start the return process. Return shipping & restocking fees will apply.

Local pick up can be arranged on a case by case basis. Email us to see if it can be arranged - we're happy to help out if it works!

Due to liability reasons, we do not sell used car seats. We do sell Open Box or floor model car seats which may have been touched and tried by others but never used in a car.
