Description
With Calma, a baby can finally apply the same feeding behaviour learned at the breast, when consuming expressed human milk. This allows for seamless transition between breast and Calma, eliminating Nipple Confusion.
HOW IT WORKS
Just like when breastfeeding, baby latches onto the teat of Calma by creating suction. Once suction has been established, the baby uses their tongue to increase or decrease the level of suction. When suction is at baseline, milk will not flow through Calma. However, when baby increases the level of suction, Calma allows the milk to pass through the teat into the baby's mouth.
